We specialize in working with those who experience themselves as different than the dominant culture and typical norm, or that exhibit behaviors that make it more difficult for them to be, and feel, successful.

All our clinicians are Neurodiverse & LGBTQIA+ competent. You can expect to find guidance from any member of our team if you struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting support, self-esteem, self-identity, gender-identity, gender affirming care, neurodiversity, intellectual disabilities, family conflict, life transitions, non-monogamy, BDSM/kink, and LBGTQIA+ challenges.

    Marie received their Master of Social Work with a concentration in Integrated Health/Mental Health Advance Practice from the University of Washington in 2013 and has been working in education, psychology, and social services for over two decades. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor through the WA Department of Health.

    He is a Child Mental Health Specialist and Disability Mental Health Specialist, Practicum Instructor at University of Washington School of Social Work, Antioch University, Bastyr University, and the Clinical Supervisor of our practice.

    In 2014 L.E. received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in the treatment of trauma and abuse through psychodynamic and narrative modalities. Since then, they have gained experience working with a wide range of clients in individual and family therapy, crisis stabilization, and acute psychiatric care. L.E. currently provides telehealth only and works with clients 12 years old and up.

    L.E. believes in supporting clients in achieving their goals through strengths based, trauma informed, and culturally aware therapeutic relationship. Their modality is eclectic and informed by intersectional feminist theory and a commitment to antiracism. They are a trained Brainspotting clinician and a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health. She specializes in neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ issues, PTSD, anxiety, depression, trauma, religious trauma, abuse, family or origin issues, and parenting support & coaching.

    Katya is a graduate from the UW school of social work with a concentration in clinical work with children, youth, and families. She has 4 years of experience working in mental health, with a particular focus on autism and neurodiversity. Her previous experience includes the UW Autism Center, Ryther, and the ARC of King County.

    Katya brings an energetic, strengths-based approach. She is a giant brain nerd, and uses psychoeducation and somatic practices to help people with the ownership and maintenance of their brains, bodies, and unique histories. She is also a giant dance nerd and has spent the past 2 years coaching pole dancers at Positive Spin - [ask her how to do the worm!]

    Mar identifies as a Queer, Neurodivergent, Latine and they are a graduate of the Clinical Social Work program at the University of Washington. Mar has specialized in working with Neurodivergent populations, and has over 6 years of experience working with Neurodivergent children, families, adults, and couples.

    Mar believes the most important element in supporting clients in reaching their goals is building a secure attachment in the therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable exploring their most vulnerable experiences.

    Mar practices from a person-centered, anti-oppressive lens, and uses trauma-informed practices alongside narrative, somatic, and self-compassion techniques to support clients in the following areas: interoceptive awareness, child-led play therapy, LGBTQIA+ challenges such as gender and sexuality exploration, Autistic burnout, parent and caregiver support, life transitions, navigating AudHD executive dysfunction, ethical nonmonogamy, immigration experiences and acculturation trauma, and ambiguous grief and loss.

    Evi received their MSW from the University of Washington in 2024. They have been working with Holistic Child and Family as a clinical intern since 2022 and are now excited to rejoin the team as an associate-level therapist. Before pursuing social work, Evi provided educational and behavioral support to youth and families in clinical, school, and in-home settings.

    As a queer ADHDer, Evi integrates neurodiversity-affirming and queer-centered practices into all aspects of their work. When working with clients, Evi focuses on using humanistic and attachment-based frameworks, prioritizing the creation of a healing space through relational safety and collaboration.

    Outside of the office, Evi enjoys listening to music, thrifting for second-hand treasures, and playing Magic: The Gathering.

  • Steph Becker (she/they), MSW, LSWAIC ************************************** Not Accepting New Clients

    Steph is a graduate of the MSW program at the University of Washington. She completed her clinical internship here at Holistic Child and Family after a winding career path. Steph has worked at Sound and YouthCare, and before entering the social work field, she taught English Composition and spent some time working in the tech industry.

    Steph is late-diagnosed auDHD and brings lived experience to their practice. They practice with a person-centered, neurodiversity-affirming lens, with a focus is on trauma and complex trauma recovery, autistic and ADHD identity formation, gender and LGBTQIA+ challenges, religious trauma, and family of origin issues. They use a humanist and existential approach that draws on narrative therapy and parts work. Steph also uses Brainspotting, and is level 2 Brainspotting trained.

    Steph is a Trekkie, and would be thrilled to discuss DS9 or Voyager with you at length. Steph also enjoys rock collecting and interacting with neighborhood crows.

  • Lydia Dake (she/they), MSW, LSWAIC ***************************** Accepting Clients from Waitlist

    Lydia received her MSW from University of Washington in 2023, with a concentration in Clinical Social Work. She completed her clinical internship at Holistic Child and Family and is thrilled to continue her career at this practice. Their academic background is based in clinical psychology, and they have experience in reproductive healthcare and domestic violence direct service.

    Lydia centers her practice around creating an affirming and inclusive environment, with a particular focus on neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She emphasizes creating authentic connections with clients and incorporates a number of modalities including parts work, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and solution-focused approaches. Outside of work you might find Lydia at home embroidering or out on a walk, making frequent stops to admire the local plant life.

  • Sepideh Kittleson (she/her), MSW, LSWAIC **************************** Immediate Openings and Accepting Clients from Waitlist

    Sepideh received her Master of Social Work from the University of Washington. She completed her first internship at UW’s Center on Human Development and Disability working with neurodivergent children and their families in their diagnostic journey. Her second internship was completed at Holistic Child and Family Practice. She is excited to return to HCFP as an associate.

    Prior to therapy, Sepideh was in the field of neuroscience research and subsequently a project manager at a clinical trials center. After having children, she decided to go back to school to obtain her MSW to become a therapist and be able to support other parents and children who don’t fit the neurotypical mold. She is skilled at forming relationships with families across diverse cultures and religious backgrounds and has enjoyed supporting families in crisis.

    Sepideh’s approach to therapy is relational, strength-based, person-centered and neurodiversity-affirming. She believes in a cooperative and collective approach in therapy and strives to promote an ethnically and culturally diverse and safe environment where clients feel safe to explore and process their difficult memories and feel supported and empowered to be the expert of their own lived experiences.

    Jasmine Gervais received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts, and is currently a 3rd year graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University. They have worked extensively in youth care and education, community organizing and advocacy, and the arts.

    Jasmine is a queer and neurodiversity affirming provider, working from a strengths-based, person-centered approach. They utilize narrative, attachment, and polyvagal theory as well as Queer and intersectional feminist theory.

    They are a working artist who enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with their pets, partners and friends.

  • Izzi Cooper (she/her) Clinical Intern ******************************* Immediate Openings and Accepting Clients from Waitlist

    Izzi is a second-year student in the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program at Bastyr University. Before beginning her clinical internship at Holistic Child and Family, she worked with individuals across the lifespan navigating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, and depression in a partial hospitalization setting. 

    Izzi holds a strong belief in meeting clients where they are at and believes that people are doing the best they can with the tools they have available to themselves. She prioritizes a person-centered (client directed) approach in her practice and supplements this with feminist theory (understanding a person within the context they live in), aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (how our thoughts, feelings, and behavior are all connected) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (accepting the things we cannot change and making a committed action to change the things we can). 

    Izzi identifies as queer and has learned to live with OCD since she was a child. These identities have helped her connect to many different people. She views connection as a vital aspect of healing and strives to co-create a secure therapeutic relationship with her clients.

    Dana is a second year Master’s of Social Work student at the University of Washington. She has six years of previous experience working in a variety of mental and behavioral health settings. Most recently, Dana has enjoyed working as a violence response specialist for the University she attends.

    With a particular passion for supporting folks experiencing faith transitions, complex trauma, identity and sexuality exploration, and relationship complexities, Dana understands that these experiences can feel a bit like a rollercoaster you never signed up to go on. She’s here to ride alongside as you navigate the twists and turns.

    Grounded in a trauma-informed, somatic, and systems perspective, Dana believes each person authors their own story. She sees her role as a privileged guide where learning and change are cultivated through relational collaboration. Drawing from various theoretical frameworks—including ACT, narrative therapy, feminist theory, and a sprinkle of behavioral therapies—she tailors her approach to meet your unique needs.

    When she’s not in session, you can find Dana enjoying life with her husband and two cats, Boo and Bee, indulging in delicious food, doing a home project, or singing in her community choir.

    Emily supports with a little bit of everything, and you’ll almost surely hear from them if you’re a client with us. A huge nerd for bridges, Emily comes to our team from the world of Civil Engineering, and their brain loves all the problem solving that comes with supporting a small business. They enjoy reading fantasy books, crocheting and knitting, and are fascinated by linguistics.
